Summary:Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. Making halal issue, which is closely related to Islam and also an important issue including in terms of medicine. In addition, most of the drugs circulating in Indonesia still do not have halal certificates. For this reason, as a first step, this study was conducted to analyse the level of knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions (KAP) of Pharmacist Study Program Students (PSPA) at ITB about halal medicines. This crosssectional study was conducted by involving questionnaires that distributed to the research subjects with a total of 90 people. Parameters measured in this study were knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions of respondents. The method used for inferential analysis was the Mann Whitney U test and the Kruskal Wallis test, as well as the correlation test using the Spearman's rank. The results showed that 80% of respondents (n = 72) already had a good level of knowledge of halal medicine as well as the positive attitude and perception level (80% (n = 72) and 65.56% (n = 59), respectively). The inferential analysis showed a significant difference between the dimensions of attitude and religion (p = 0.033). In the perception dimension, there was also a significant difference with the religion variable (p = 0.024) as well as the experience of taking halal courses (p = 0.005). No significant difference was found in the knowledge dimension with any of the variables tested. In addition, the correlation test was also carried out with the result that there was a strong positive relationship between dimensions of both knowledge and attitude (p = 0.000), attitude and perception (p = 0.000), and knowledge and perception (p = 0.000).
