To create a Lean, Agile, and Efficient organization to improve operational excellence and competitiveness and become the best company in the upstream oil and gas industry, PT KHKT made a reorganization change. Organizational changes at PT KHKT have a significant impact on the organization. Many changes have occurred, not only in the organizational structure but also in the grouping of working areas that significantly impact workers. Many employees experienced changes in work locations, job descriptions, and positions during the reorganization. The reorganization change also led to changes and concerns from the employee about their career paths. Conditions of massive and rapid organizational change indicating to cause changes in employee engagement. An employee engagement survey/questionnaire and an In-Depth interview were conducted to assess employee engagement in employees in the subsurface division. The factors causing low employee engagement were obtained by combining the results of questionnaires and In-depth interviews. Some business solutions are taken based on problems experienced by employees after reorganization. text
