Summary:Abstract: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The Lembang fault is one of geological landmarks, which is most interesting in Bandung highland. It has clear geomorfblogical expression showed by its neotectonic activity in Bandung basin. Since it is located near housing area around Lembang to Cisarua, this fault is able to cause a disaster in the area and nearby. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The study of del rmation of Lembang fault is necessary to do in order to know easily the displacement of the fault. The geodetic approach by using GPS positioning method can be applied for this purpose so that we can have a newest infbrmation of its geometric status about displacement of the fault. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on the result of the research as long as two epoch, it is shown that the displacement of the area arround the fault both in the northern part and the southern part tends to move toward the south direction in which the displacement rate of the southern part is lesser than the displacement rate of the northern part of the fault. As vertical, the northern part of the fault shift down however the southern part of the fault shift up. It is presumed that it is a part of subduction energy compensation of the Indoaustralian plate subduction beneath the Sunda block plate where the fault exists.
