Description
Summary:The rapid development of technology has transformed various aspects of human life, including education, which has given rise to new concepts such as "Smart Campus." Smart Campus has become a major focus in numerous higher education institutions worldwide, aiming to develop intelligent and technology-driven campus environments. To realize the concept of a smart campus, the design of architecture is crucial as it serves as a formulation of solutions. This final project proposes an architectural service design to support the implementation of a smart campus concept, utilizing an enterprise architecture approach in the data layer, with ITB (Institut Teknologi Bandung) as a case study. The resulting architectural design aligns with the requirements needed to facilitate the application of a smart campus concept at ITB. These requirements are developed based on an analysis of the baseline architecture and focus on improving identified issues. The architectural design at the data layer illustrates the arrangement of data structures at the conceptual and logical level views. It is expected that this proposed architectural design will enhance service quality and decision-making effectiveness within the campus environment.
