Summary: | Campus is one of the educational institutions in which there are services that
support the running of an institution. The existence of services is increasingly being
improved, of course in various ways. Starting from the implementation of standard
operating procedures (SOP), budget adjustments for services, and others. One of
the factors in improving services is adding technological elements to the service
process. One of these concepts is the application of the smart campus concept.
Smart campus is one of the concepts of applying the latest technology on campus
that aims to improve campus services. Smart campus does not only refer to the use
of high technology, but there are many dimensions that become parameters for the
formation of smart campus. Implementing a smart campus is not an easy thing.
There are many calculations that must be done. The calculation starts from many
things, ranging from policies, costs, and others. There are many ways to build a
smart campus. One way that can be done is to design using one of the enterprise
architecture frameworks. The framework in question is TOGAF ADM. TOGAF
ADM divides the architecture into four layers. Starting from business, data,
applications, and technology. The technology layer is a layer where an explanation
of the use of technology from an architecture will be designed. The design explains
how an element interacts with each other so that it can finally fulfill the purpose of
the architecture design. The result of this final project is an architecture design at
the technology layer for smart campus service design at ITB as a case study. The
design is in the form of a technology architecture diagram which is divided into
baseline architecture and target architecture. Analysis of the difference between the
baseline and target is done to see the difference between the current condition and
the desired condition. The design of technology architecture is in accordance with
the needs of the previous architecture design (application architecture). |
