This thesis focuses on designing the Smart Campus Service Architecture at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) using an Enterprise Architecture approach on the Application Layer. By utilizing The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) methodology, this thesis proposes an application architecture design that supports various services within the Smart Campus ecosystem. In the Application Layer, the designed architecture uses modern technology such as microservices and APIs to facilitate integration and collaboration among various campus services. This involves simplifying and standardizing interfaces, as well as enhancing accessibility and flexibility through the use of Cloud Computing. In this context, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is also applied in various services to improve user experience, such as recommendation systems and chatbots. The implementation of this designed architecture is expected to enhance the quality of services and the effectiveness of decision-making on campus. Through more efficient integration of various systems and services, the campus can provide better information access to users and improve the quality of user interactions with campus systems. text |
