With such a significant potential of solar energy, there is a need for numerous components to make it a reality. One of these components is a power converter. The DC-DC converter plays a crucial role in solar power generation systems (PLTS), particularly in boosting the voltage since the voltage generated by PLTS is relatively low. Therefore, the voltage value needs to be increased to match the electrical grid. Among the considered topologies are the Cascaded Boost Converter, Multiphase Modified Cuk Converter, and Multilevel Multiphase Modified Cuk Converter. The multilevel multiphase modified cuk DC- DC converter offers more advantages based on the specified criteria compared to other DC-DC converters. The results of this research indicate that the selected design is the multilevel multiphase modified cuk converter with 4 levels. The voltage level increases from 48Vdc to 380-400Vdc by adjusting the duty cycle parameter. Additionally, the experimental results demonstrate low input and output current ripple. text
