Jakarta is one of the cities experiencing significant temperature increases, particularly in Central Business Districts (CBD) with high human activity. The CBD of Sentra Primer Barat needs attention as it is planned to be one of the centers to accommodate the overflow of movement from the city center of Jakarta and also serves as a national and international trade hub. Therefore, this study aims to conduct a design review using the Climate Sensitive Urban Design (CSUD) approach to create a climate-adaptive area. This study consists of two stages of analysis. The first stage involves analyzing the fulfillment of CSUD principles based on CSUD design criteria. The second stage reviews the performance of the area design based on microclimate simulations and thermal comfort index values using the Envi-Met 5.0.3 application. Based on the analyses, it was found that the proposed design only fulfills 37.4% of the climate-sensitive urban design principles. From these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of Climate Sensitive Urban Design principles is still very low, indicating that the design is not responsive to the climate, thus unable to improve thermal comfort. Therefore, this study provides several recommendations aimed at assisting the government, planners, and urban designers in designing areas that are more climate-responsive, with the goal of enhancing thermal comfort. text |

The high rate of urbanization towards urban areas has implications for the
increasing intensity of development, which creates living comfort issues for urban
communities. Jakarta is one of the cities experiencing significant temperature

Jakarta and also serves as a national and international trade hub. Therefore, this
study aims to conduct a design review using the Climate Sensitive Urban Design
(CSUD) approach to create a climate-adaptive area. This study consists of two
