| Summary: | In sea boundaries delineation, there are two methods of sea boundaries determination that can be used, there are graphical method and numerical method. Graphical method is to do depiction process of sea boundaries helped by depiction software in computer and the numerical method use geodetic determination of position formulaes. In this script explained the position determination in graphical and numerical method and the comparison of sea boundaries result from both method that use basepoints in PP No. 38/2002 as the reference residing in Nias Island. The results of that comparison, the use of graphical method is better than numerical method, because with that method, coastal state will get wider area if compared to method that use numerical method, where this is one of the target of every coastal state to determine their sea boundaries. <br />
