Summary: | Background: Doping is the use of prohibited substances and/or methods to
enhance sporting achievement and any form of violation of anti-doping rules. Antidoping violations committed by Athletes either intentionally or unintentionally are
dominated by the Athlete’s level of knowledge about anti-doping violations which
is still very lacking. So that knowledge about anti-doping becomes a problem that
must get very serious attention. The purpose of this study is to determine how much
the level of knowledge of Indonesian athletes on Anti-Doping Rule Violations
(ADRV), knowledge of the implementation of Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE),
knowledge of the use of the Whereabouts Application and knowledge of all these
components to be able to guide athletes and sports for preventive action against
anti-doping rule violations. Methods: This research is an observational study using
quantitative descriptive research design. The research subjects used purposive
sampling technique. Athletes will be given a questionnaire in the form of 24
questions derived from the Anti-Doping Education Learning (ADEL) application
regarding ADRV, TUE and Whereabouts. Then the collected data were analyzed
using the SPSS version 25 IBM application, USA. Results: on the Anti-Doping
Rule Violations (ADRV) variable the level of understanding of the majority of
athletes is low with a percentage of 37%, the variable implementation of
Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) the level of understanding of the majority of
athletes is high with a percentage of 44%, the variable use of Whereabouts
Application the level of understanding of athletes is high with a percentage of 46%
and overall knowledge with a percentage of 65% is low. Conclusion: The
conclusion of this study is that the level of knowledge of athletes on Anti-Doping
Rule Violations (ADRV), Implementation of Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE)
and knowledge of the Use of Whereabouts Applications and knowing the level of
Anti-Doping knowledge based on the overall research variable that in this study
obtained a level of knowledge that tends to be low.
