Description
Summary:Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are crucial elements of Indonesia's economy that significantly affect economic growth and have the potential to improve people's welfare. PT. Infratech Daya Mandiri (PTIDM), a small enterprise that distributes information technology (IT) products and services in Indonesia, recorded decline in revenue, highlighting the need for a business strategy to attain improved performance. Therefore, this study's objective is to analyze the external and internal environment of PTIDM, propose a business strategy for the company's growth, and create an implementation plan to support the proposed design. The study uses qualitative methods to analyze external and internal factors, such as VRIO and the existing Business Model Canvas, the PEST analysis, and Porter’s Five Forces. The findings reveal that PTIDM possesses valuable resources and operates in a favorable business environment, but it faces challenges from competitors and the rapid pace of technological advancements. To remain competitive, PTIDM must adapt its business model, invest in human resources, and enhance marketing efforts. The implementation plan aims to address these challenges and opportunities, leading to business growth and success. The study recommends that PTIDM adopt a strategic plan that maximizes its strengths, addresses weaknesses, and mitigates potential threats. The findings also suggest future academic research, including an in-depth analysis of the Indonesian IT industry, the effectiveness of different marketing channels and strategies, and adopting of emerging technologies by IT companies in Indonesia.
