Description
Summary:Depok City has a role as a buffer zone for the capital city of Jakarta which is directly adjacent to its east and south. The role of this buffer zone consists of the function of residential land and conservation of water catchment areas where conflicts often occur in the form of conversion of land use of lake water bodies into housing. The function as a catchment area given to the Depok City which is known as the City of a Thousand Lakes, it gives importance meaning to the existence of lakes which need to be maintained through appropriate management so that they are not neglected. Situ Jatijajar as one of the lakes in Depok City whose directed as nature tourism which is expected to be able to balance the function of conservation with the function of tourism with an attraction that consist of urban forest green open spaces, lake body and its border area, also Al-Karomah Mosque which is trusted by the local community for its existence historic tombs as religious and cultural tourism. However, in actual conditions, the physical quality and available infrastructure facilities have not been able to support the function of the area. The revitalization plan is an opportunity for the Situ Jatiajar area to carry out its two functions with the initial steps starting with the physical arrangement of the area. In order to balance the function of conservation and nature tourism, physical arrangement requires an appropriate design concept. In this research, the drafting of the design concept was carried out through normative principles represented by several criteria which would be optimized through the fragmental design method. These criteria consist of sustainability, attraction (attraction), harmony, usefulness, safety, facilities, and image as the focus of the design guide to exploit the potential and solve the physical problems of the Situ Jatijajar area through the result of this design concepts.
