THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE RISK LEVEL OF NATURAL DISASTER AREAS OF GUNUNG GEDE ERUPTION IN CIANJUR REGENCY

Abstract : <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Northern Cianjur Regency, particularly Kecamatan Pacet, Cugenang and Warungkondang is located on the hazard area of Gunung Gede eruption. The rapid level of occupation and the development of tourism make this area dangerous for natural disaster of Gunung Gede eruption. To day the management of disaster has been demanded to pay more attention to the handling of pre disaster which one of them is mitigation action. The determination of risk level is one of the base in the determination of mitigation action which is connected with the spatial arrangement. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The main factors of the risk disaster area of eruption comprise the factor of hazard, vulnerability and capacity. Hazard factor will influence the mitigation action which will be applied to the dangerous area of disaster of volcano eruption. The mitigation action on the primary danger area is positively different from the secondary one. This the delineation is the important step that must be done before the determination of risk level. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The determination of the spatial utilization of natural disaster of volcano eruption area can be applied by the mitigation action which is connected with the spatial arrangment based on its risk level.
