Description
Summary:Water is a basic human need that must be satisfied because to support all activities and availability can affect the acceleration of the achievement of the development goals of a region. In line with the Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Goal 6 is to ensure access to clean water and sanitation and sustainable water supply for all. One of these areas is the Rebana Golden Triangle Region, specifically Cirebon Regency. This regency has the lowest coverage of piped water network services, reaching only 9.21%, and suffers from a lack of clean water sources. Therefore, there is a need to improve the provision of clean water services in Cirebon Regency by adding alternative sources of clean water from the Jatigede Regional Water Supply System (SPAM). According to the Revised Spatial Planning Plan of Cirebon Regency 2022–2042, Cirebon Regency is planned to receive an allocation of 950 liters per second of clean water from the Jatigede Regional SPAM. However, the distribution of this clean water requires the determination of priority locations that will receive the water supply. Hence, this study aims to identify priority locations for expanding the piped water network services from the Jatigede Regional SPAM in Cirebon Regency. In determining the locations, criteria are first established through a literature review. Subsequently, an identification process is carried out for each sub-district based on the selected criteria using questionnaires and planning documents. Following that, an assessment is conducted to determine the selected locations using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Based on the analyses conducted, Mundu Sub-district was identified as the selected location for expanding the piped water network services from the Jatigede Regional SPAM in Cirebon Regency.
