Summary: | The current development of technology in the digital world has led to the rapid dissemination of information, which allows for unauthorized duplication or modification by third parties. One way to prevent this problem is by using watermarking. Watermarking is a technique of embedding information into digital data as a form of the original owner’s identity. This Final Project specifically discusses the use of watermarking on color images using 2 methods: Least Significant Bit (LSB) and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). The FFT method employs the Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) technique to obtain singular value of the watermark, which is then combined with the FFT coefficients of the image. Subsequently, an inverse FFT is performed to obtain the image with the embedded watermark. Experimental results show that images with watermarks embedded using the FFT method exhibit good wuality and strong resistance against compression, blur, object addition, and noise addition. |
