Description
Summary:Abstract:

Geomorphology of the investigation area is divided into two units, which are: Downhill Volcano Unit and Structure Denudation Unit. Stratigraphically, the investigation area consists of Late Oligocene - Early Miocene claystone of Batuasih Formation with shale presents as intercalation and quartz sandstone, Lower to Middle Early Miocene Limestone member of Rajamandala formation. Citarum formation consists of Upper Early Miocene to Lower Middle Miocene sandstone with shalestone interval, claystone and volcanic clastic sediment rock which are developed in deep sea environment. Outcrops of volcanic material found in the investigation area are volcanic breccias and lava. The lava unit consists of andecite with columnar joints, vesicular, and sheeting joint. The young volcanic sediment consists of lapili tuff which is a product of Tangkuban Perahu volcano. The lithology of plutonic intrusion found have andecitic composition, predicted developed in the Late Miocene. Structural Geology found in the investigation area includes one syncline, two thrust, and four dextral strike slip fault.
