INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/74535 The utilization of technology is inevitable in this era. Online learning systems have become one of the most frequently used applications of technology. However, according to research, online learning is not effective. Therefore, there is a need to develop a metaverse mind map application. However, metaverse, being a new technology, may not be easy to use. In the learning process, the internet undeniably becomes one of the frequently used sources. It requires a feahlre that can help users create a mind map based on information from the internet. The objective of this final project is to create a web scraping visualization feature for the metaverse mind map. The web scraping visualization feature consists of three main processes: scraping process, smmnaiy process, and visualization process. The first process, the scraping process, involves retrieving data from the internet using a libra1y specifically designed for this purpose. The surnmaiy process involves surnma1izing the data obtained from the first process using AI technology. The final process, visualization, is where the smmnaiized data is visualized within the application. Testing is conducted to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of developing the metaverse mind map application and the web scraping visualization feature. Creating a mind map within the application proves to be slightly more effective compai·ed to creating a mind map on paper. With the web scraping visualization feature, the process of creating a mind map within the application can be accelerated by up to 92% in terms of time, and it requires fewer steps, up to 45% less, compared to creating a mind map directly witllin the application. text |
