Summary: | Pengotan Village is one of the traditional villages in the highlands of Bali (Bali Aga).
Pengotan Village is rich in local customs and traditions. The daily life of the people of
Pengotan Village is closely tied to and oriented to Mount Batur in the Kintamani area.
Despite adhering to Hinduism, they practice completely different rituals compared to other
villages in Bali. The main motivation in the lives of the Pengotan people is harmony with
God, other human beings, and with nature, which means emphasizing spiritual life above
daily activities. The temple, as a place for the residents of Pengotan Village to carry out
religious activities, is built in such a way as to reflect the spiritual world of the community.
The customs and culture of Pengotan Bali Village should be better known by the wider
community, including the Indonesian people, as an example of the richness of Bali culture.
Compendium is one of the information media that can wrap information about a
particular subject which is presented in various, almost free formats. The design of an
interactive digital compendium with Augmented Reality can be used to immersive the
introduction of the Pengotan Village Temple area. |
