Summary:Young adults are individuals between teenagers and adults, which spans from 19 to 40 years old. In this period, an individual experiences physical, intellectual, as well as social role transitions. The young adult also experiences a new chapter in life, in which they will have more roles to fit into and have more needs and ambitions. They will also develop new behaviors and principles. This transitional phase can make young adults overthink on various things. This research introduces a method to minimize overthinking by creating a product / kit that contains a booklet and card deck to help young adults practice mindfulness. Data is collected by handing out questionnaires, doing interviews, and by doing field tests to get direct feedback on the product. From the data analysis, it is confirmed that overthinking can be minimized by practicing mindfulness. Young adults can learn and understand more about overthinking and mindfulness from the booklet, and also practice mindfulness by using the card deck in their everyday lives. This product hopes to help young adults minimize overthinking and practice mindfulness in a new, exciting, easy, and less boring way.
