Summary: | Bandung Regency is one of the regions in West Java Province that has a lot of tourism potential, especially tourist villages, where the Bandung Regency Government has a program to determine 100 tourist villages through the regulation of Regent Decree No.556/Kep.770-Disbupar/2022 which is a renewal of the target of 10 tourist villages in 2011 to develop into 100 tourist villages in 2022. Lamajang Tourism Village is one of the tourism villages that has existed since 2011. Its development plan has been legally established in planning documents, including as the Lamajang Nature Tourism Development Area (KPPD) in the RPJPD, RPJMN, and Ripparda of Bandung Regency. However, during the 11 years of the establishment of Lamajang Tourism Village there has been no significant change, especially in 2022 it is still included in the class of pilot tourism villages so that it is considered not optimal in the development of tourism villages. This research aims to identify the condition of tourism components and the right development strategy in implementing the concept of community-based tourism village in Lamajang Tourism Village. This research uses a qualitative approach with the Miles and Huberman analysis method, and SWOT analysis. The research was conducted through in-depth interviews with several relevant stakeholders in Lamajang Tourism Village, including the village government, tourism village managers, representatives of village organizations, and community leaders.
The results showed that in Lamajang Tourism Village, the potential tourist attractions are classified into 3 types, namely natural tourism, cultural tourism, and artificial tourism, including 9 tourist attractions that have been developed and 1 in the development stage. The condition of the components of amenity, accessibility, and tourism institutions in Lamajang Tourism Village is sufficient and adequate, but there are still several components that need to be added if they are not available or repaired if the condition is not suitable for use. The results of the analysis of internal and external factors explain that Lamajang Tourism Village is in quadrant I, which has strengths and opportunities to develop into an advanced and independent tourist village. The results of the SWOT analysis based on the IFAS and EFAS matrices are in the form of a proposed community-based tourism village development strategy using a growth-oriented strategy.
