In 2021, the Company's production target was not achieved due to an unplanned Loss of Production Opportunity (LPO) caused by facilities problems. Representatives of divisions in SES Block conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) using the Kepner Tregoe Problem Analysis tool to identify a potential loss of oil production caused by the failure of production facilities so that a true root cause is obtained from the existing problem. Then a further FGD was held to discuss alternative solutions with the Value Focus Thinking (VFT) approach. Five alternative solutions are made and then analyzed using the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method to get the best alternative solution. The assessment of alternative solutions is divided into two criteria, namely cost and benefit. Cost is further divided into two sub-criteria, namely CAPEX and OPEX. Benefits are divided into five sub-criteria: risk and integrity status, total reserve, ABO activities, number of leaks, and Reserve To Production (RTP). The performance of each attribute in the sub-criteria is calculated. From the analysis results, there are two alternatives in the efficient frontier. From sensitivity analysis, 12" MOL Krisna P – Cinta P1 is an alternative solution that is not impacted by the sensitivity weight on the number of leaks, which also affects the worth of risk and integrity status and the cost of ABO activities. So that the alternative was chosen to be the best alternative solution to overcome the problem of pipe leakage that causes unplanned LPO. By implementing the replacement pipeline, management's expectations of the reliability of production facilities are expected to increase, production targets can be achieved, and the impact on the environment can be reduced to maintain the Company's image. text
