instruments to children through teaching and learning activities in elementary schools is one of the
efforts to preserve traditional musical instruments in West Java. Even so, the method of introducing
traditional musical instruments at school is not necessarily interesting and will leave an impression on
children, especially if the introduction of these musical instruments is limited only through textbooks.
This design was made to introduce, preserve, and arouse children's interest in learning and exploring
traditional West Javanese musical instruments through the media of interactive children's books,
which were made by collecting data through literature review, interviews, and focus group discussions,
then processed into an interactive picture story book. It is hoped that this book can provide insight into
West Javanese traditional musical instruments in a way that is suitable for children aged 9-11 years,
so as to foster interest in children towards West Javanese traditional musical instruments.
