Description
Summary:Socializing is an important foundation when it comes to interacting in a broader environment. Most children learn language, social skills, physical motor skills, art, and even moral and religious values at an early age, specifically between 6 and 12 years old. During this age range, children are in school, which further expands their social development. However, since the COVID-19 pandemic, children's social activities have been limited to the family environment, leading to a significant amount of time spent on playing with electronic devices. As a result, children's socializing patterns have changed, with a preference for playing online rather than interacting directly with their friends. The lack of socializing experiences has caused children to feel confused when they have to interact face-to-face. Therefore, one of the best ways for children aged 6 to 12 to socialize is through play. The purpose of this design is to create a specialized interactive digital playground where children can play together. By implementing collaborative and interactive gameplay strategies, it is hoped that this design will provide children with an opportunity to experience social interactions while playing using a medium that is more familiar to children in the 6-12 age group, namely digital media.
