However, currently the aircraft is operating at Adi Soemarmo International Airport, it turns out that it takes off in a Restricted Take-Off Weight (RTOW) condition with only 52% of the aircraft's fuel capacity is filled. As a result, the plane cannot fly long distances. Considering the existing conditions and long-term goals, it is necessary to conduct a further evaluation regarding the performance of airside facilities as a reference for carrying out plans for the development of airside facilities at Adi Soemarmo International Airport, so that they can serve the projected number of passengers for the next 20 years to 2043 with take-off conditions can reach the Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW). The airport’s evaluation and development plan guidelines used are ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) and FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). The projection results show that the number of passengers and aircraft operations will increase, with a total of 6 million/year and 18 thousand/year respectively. The evaluation results for airside facilities stated that the runway configuration was still a single runway with an orientation of 08-26 and the dimension of the taxiway 247,5m x 23m were still the same as the existing conditions, but development was needed to include a runway extension from 2600m x 45m to 3225m x 45m, expansion of the apron from 135m x 420m to 135m x 610m, and development of the existing apron rigid pavement. For the development of the runway extension utilizing flexible pavement and the expansion of the apron using rigid pavement. For markings to be redesigned on runway, taxiways and apron. Then, the drainage channel will be redesigned using 3 secondary channels and 2 primary channels. The entire plan to develop airside facilities at Adi Soemarmo International Airport requires a budget plan of 281 billion. text |
