Therefore, it is necessary to create a structure to protect the abutment of the Cikapundung bridge on the Siliwangi road in Bandung from scouring. Scour modeling was carried out on the bridge abutment with a physical model in the Laboratory which has a scale of 1: 66 and in a 50-year return period flood. The scour depth of the model is 0.077 meters or 4.62 meters in actual conditions. The planning design is in the form of four krib structures with a length of 2.89 meters, a width of 2.89 meters and a height of 5.1 meters and a spacing of 5.1 meters between kribs. After modeling the krib structure in HECRAS 6.2 and recalculating the scour state after the kribs, the scour was obtained to be 0.056 meters. Another design is a plunge building for drainage channels on the left side just before the bridge with a pool length of 1.6 meters and a damping floor height of 2 meters. To protect the body of the abutment, protection is designed in the form of river stone masonry along 11.6 meters. The total cost required is IDR 478,461,000. text |
