The current trade finance processes are manual transaction process, no digital application that connects customers directly to the processing center, heavy paper-
based transactions, and use multiple applications.
The aims of this project are to analyze the competitive advantage of Trade Finance BRI and to develop strategies and proposed digital transformation for Trade Finance BRI in improving company’s competitive advantages by re-engineering the existing business process.
In formulating strategy, PESTEL framework and Porter’s Five Forces are utilized to recognize external factors which influence The Enterprise. VRIO analysis is used to know internal factors within The Business which possible as the core of The Company competitive advantage. Later, the fishbone diagram to analyze pain points as the root cause analysis. From the pain points that defined by the root cause analysis, then the research designed by using 6 (six) steps business process re-engineering. The developed model as To-be trade finance business processs projected to reduce the pain points in previous process.
The research result shows the To-be business process to eliminate the pain points. The developed business process allows customers to join the new experience in trade finance transaction. |
