Summary: | The backend processing technology and Internet of Things (IoT) are important
technologies that serve as the foundation for various applications, including smart
parking systems. This final project aims to develop a seamless parking payment
system that utilizes backend processing and IoT technologies to create a smooth
payment experience. There are five main subsystems involved in this research:
machine learning, blockchain, backend, IoT, and web application. This study will
specifically focus on leveraging IoT-based backend technology as an integrator for
the other subsystems and as an actuator for the smart parking payment system. The
IoT-based backend technology is utilized to process and integrate the functions within
this system, ranging from user account activation for parking spaces to user check-out
from parking areas. The implementation results of the Application Programming
Interface (API) are used for interactions with each subsystem, including machine
learning, blockchain, and web application. During integration testing, it was found
that the smart parking payment system takes an average of 10.4 seconds to process
data for user check-in and an average of 11.1 seconds for user check-out. |
