Meanwhile, the implementation of strategies in developing new opportunities in existing structures through workover activities in the last three years has not been able to contribute to achieving oil production targets. Based on this background, this study aims to determine the factors that affect the success of workover work, then propose alternative solutions in selecting suitable well candidates for workover and choosing the best well for workover job in PT Pertamina EP Jatibarang Field. In identifying the factors that affect the success of workover job, problem analysis uses the Kepner Tregoe Approach and Fishbone Diagram, while determining alternative solutions in selecting suitable well candidates for workover job and choosing the best well for workover job is carried out using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. From the problem analysis, it is known that in choosing a workover well, the Production Target criteria have the greatest influence (58.5%), followed by Technical Problems in second place (22.1%), after which they are influenced by Third Party Equipment (10.5%), and finally influenced by Location Readiness (8.9%). An alternative solution to make decisions in the selection of workover wells proposed in this study is to use the AHP Method because the AHP Method can create a structured hierarchy to solve problems, can include all criteria that affect the success of workover, and can weigh the influence of each criterion based on input from experts from various divisions within the scope of workover. Thus, after the comparison results using AHP, the KRE-004 well is used as the best well candidate for workover in 2024 and will be carried out using the ADI-05 Rig. text
