The lack of preparedness and the quality of the buildings that are not earthquake-resistant standars make the school community vulnerable to being crushed by building materials. There is a need for child-based disaster risk reduction efforts supported by paradigm learners to function as communicator agents for families and communities. So the implementation of SPAB was mandated by the Ministry of Education and Culture referring to regulations of the ministry of education and culture Number 33 of 2019 followed by governor regulations Number 88 of 2020 in West Java Province. This study aims to analyze the policy implementation program for the development of a disaster-safe school programme (SPAB) strategy to realize the protection of disaster-resilient human resources in Cianjur Regency.The findings show that there are 132 school units consisting of 45,782 students, 2,330 educators, 727 teaching staff with 1,897 classrooms that are vulnerable to multihazard risk and 22 priority programs are produced. The implementation of the SPAB program has not yet been hampered by decentralization, coordination, knowledge, policies and financing at the district and education unit levels. Institutional governance is carried out to improve coordination and collaboration through a collaborative governance model in the process of planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the SPAB program and utilizing the potential of Cianjur Regency. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, the SPAB development program is in quadrant I indicating that SPAB implementation in Cianjur Regency has very profitable strengths and opportunities through a development strategy that supports aggressive growth. text |
