Summary: | Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is a crucial process in employee development and improving company performance. This research aims to conduct a TNA in an aircraft maintenance company and develop a training program to enhance employees' performance in aircraft operations and maintenance. The research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques involved extant data, job task analysis and direct interviews with employees and company management. Gap analysis is used to evaluate employees' current skills and knowledge and determine the skills and knowledge required to improve their performance in aircraft operations and maintenance. The research findings indicate that employees have different training needs in various areas, such as technical skills in engine maintenance and repair, avionics, and aircraft structure, as well as the development of other skills such as project management, risk management, and change management. From the gap analysis results, a training plan is developed consisting of various training programs designed to meet employees' training needs. The training includes both technical training and skill development training, which are provided regularly to enhance employees' performance. This research demonstrates that TNA is a crucial process in employee development and improving company performance. Regular implementation of TNA can assist aircraft maintenance companies in identifying employees' training needs and ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively and efficiently. By providing appropriate training, the company can improve employee performance, increase productivity and overall company performance, and enhance safety and service quality in aircraft operations and maintenance. |
