Summary: | Leuwikeris reservoir is a reservoir located between the border of Ciamis Regency and Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java Province. This reservoir is expected to meet raw water needs, irrigation water needs, hydropower, river maintenance, minimize flooding, and increase tourism potential. Each reservoir requires reservoir operation pattern guidelines. The method used in this operation pattern is the optimization method using a computer application in the form of Microsoft Excel. This method is expected to analyze the maximum profit obtained from the operation pattern. The data required are discharge data, population data, climatology data, cropping pattern data, irrigation area data, and reservoir technical data. This reservoir operation pattern optimization produces three (3) operating limit year conditions, namely wet year (35%), normal year (50%), and dry year (65%).
As a result of the analysis conducted, it was found that the maximum profit and needs were met during the wet year. While the operating pattern in normal years some needs are met and profits tend to be stable. In the dry year operating pattern, some needs and profits are met but not as large as the wet and dry year operating patterns. |
