This is in line with the increase in population. The population over the last 5 years shows an upward growth trend. This has an impact on increasing the need for land which has an impact on environmental degradation which eventually causes natural disasters such as floods. The flood occurred due to the high intensity of rain for 11 hours and inundated 2,204 families and 2,174 houses in Gorontalo City. The absence of a study on economic losses due to flooding in an area is the key to the basic problem in this study. Therefore, this study will discuss the analysis of economic losses due to flooding in Gorontalo City due to the overflow of the bone river. To analyze economic losses, it is necessary to analyze the distribution of flood inundation with 2-Dimensional HEC-RAS software. Economic analysis was conducted using the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) method. Based on the results of economic analysis, it is also obtained that the estimated loss for the city spatial planning of Gorontalo in 2039 condition is for the 2-year return period is 211.2 billion Rupiah, for the 10-year return period is 378.64 billion Rupiah, for the 25-year return period is 481.13 billion Rupiah, for the 50-year return period is 562.71 billion Rupiah, for the 100-year return period is 636.26 billion Rupiah and for the 1000-year return period is 1377.18 billion Rupiah. Based on this, the design flood discharge is optimal in the 50-year return period. The optimum value is taken from the trend of increasing loss values which have a greater gradient in the 2-50 year return period compared to the 50-1000 year repeat period. text |
