ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONSHIPS OF LAND USE, TOPOGRAPHY, AND SOIL TYPE OF THE CISANGKUY RIVER BASIN TO CISANGKUY RIVER WATER QUALITY WITH SPATIAL AND SEASONAL VARIATIONS
River Basin (DAS) is influenced by activities that occur on land (Government Regulation No. 37 of 2012 regarding DAS Management). This results in DAS characteristics such as soil type, topography, and land use affecting water quality in the DAS. Sub- DAS Cisangkuy plays an important role in pr...

This results in DAS characteristics such as soil type, topography, and land use affecting water quality in the DAS. Sub- DAS Cisangkuy plays an important role in providing water for the needs of the community in the Bandung area and its surroundings. However, SubDAS Cisangkuy faces water pollution and environmental degradation due to human activities. This study aims to analyze the relationship between land use, topography, and soil type on the water quality of the Cisangkuy River. Water quality parameters (dependent variables) are represented by BOD, COD, Nitrite, Ammonium, and Chloride with spatial variations. DAS characteristics (independent variables) are land use, topography, and soil type. This study proves that all dominant factors have correlations with all water quality parameters used in this study. The obtained relationship models are as follows: (1) Y = 0 + 0,549X1 + 0.29X2 – 8.46X3 (BOD with DAS characteristics); (2) Y = 0 + 2.56X1 + 0.7X2 - 27.72X3 (COD with DAS characteristics); (3) Y = 0 + 0.07X1 - 0.02X2 - 0.1X3 (Nitrite with DAS characteristics); (4) Y = 0 + 0.01X1 - 0.0001X2 - 0.06X3 (Ammonium with DAS characteristics); (5) Y = 0 + 1.41X1 + 0.32X2 - 14.85X3 (Chloride with DAS characteristics). text |
