Description
Summary:The scope of design for a Office Building with a Biophilic Approach in Surabaya City includes the main reinforced concrete structure, basement structure, and steel roof frame structure. This design is based on references from national standards SNI 1726:2019, SNI 1727:2020, SNI 2847:2019, SNI 1729:2020, as well as citing some requirements from foreign standards such as JIS G3452, ASCE 7-16, and AISC Design Guide 01. The building structure is planned as an earthquake-resistant building, considering the lateral force effects from possible seismic loads in extreme conditions. The selection of the structural system consists of shear walls, also known as dual systems, taking into account the effectiveness of the system in resisting lateral forces. The design considers irregularities present in the building structure, both vertical and horizontal irregularities. The consequences of these irregularities include three-dimensional modeling and increased torsional moments in the structural design. Reinforcement design is carried out according to the internal forces acting on the structural elements, including concrete columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, and steel structures in the roof frame. Detailed structural information, including reinforcement details and dimensions, is depicted in the form of structural drawings or Detailed Engineering Drawings.
