One of the impacts is the impact of online ojek drivers' activities while waiting or looking for orders (idletime), such as congestion, public space comfort, parking availability, and transportation mode selection problems. In achieving a holistic understanding of the online ojek system, this study aims to explore the pattern of movement and location selection of online ojek during idle-time. This exploration is done by identifying driver characteristics and peak hour service patterns, important location characteristics during idle-time, and idle-time location selection factors. Through data collection through questionnaires, location characteristics and selection factors are reviewed through measuring driver perceptions of locations with Likert data at each time window in one day. It was identified that the characteristics of the respondents in this study were diverse in several ways. The peak hours found based on drivers' perceptions were 06:00-08:00, 11:00-13:00, and 16:00-21:00. Using non-parametric statistical tests on the Likert data of location characteristics, it was found that trade locations, such as food merchants/restaurants and markets/malls/shops were the most important locations for most of the day. The factors that most influence the selection of these locations are the operational factors of the driver's work, such as the use of the potential order map on the application and the average active hours of the driver receiving orders. The findings in this study can be the basis for the government and platform providers to formulate policies related to the activities of online ojek drivers. text |

Online ojek or ride-hailing in the MSTP system or Multi-Service Transport
Platforms as one of the ICT innovations in urban transportation problems has a
considerable impact on people's travel behaviour. One of the impacts is the
impact of online ojek drivers' activities while waiting or looking for orders (idletime), such as congestion, public space comfort, parking availability, and
transportation mode selection problems. In achieving a holistic understanding of
the online ojek system, this study aims to explore the pattern of movement and
location selection of online ojek during idle-time. This exploration is done by
identifying driver characteristics and peak hour service patterns, important
location characteristics during idle-time, and idle-time location selection factors.
Through data collection through questionnaires, location characteristics and
selection factors are reviewed through measuring driver perceptions of locations
with Likert data at each time window in one day. It was identified that the
characteristics of the respondents in this study were diverse in several ways. The
peak hours found based on drivers' perceptions were 06:00-08:00, 11:00-13:00,
and 16:00-21:00. Using non-parametric statistical tests on the Likert data of
location characteristics, it was found that trade locations, such as food
merchants/restaurants and markets/malls/shops were the most important
locations for most of the day. The factors that most influence the selection of these
locations are the operational factors of the driver's work, such as the use of the
potential order map on the application and the average active hours of the driver
receiving orders. The findings in this study can be the basis for the government
and platform providers to formulate policies related to the activities of online ojek
