Summary: | In this book a tool is going to be made to complement the limitations in today’s vehicles. By using V2V communication as a base, vehicles can communicate with one another and give away their location. By knowing where each vehicles are will increase the safety of the driver from the limitations of the sensors available in today’s vehicles. The purpose of this tool is to cover the weaknesses of sensors in vehicles and increase research on V2V communication. The method in this research is the qualitative method.
The hypothesis is that a tool made using raspberry pi connected to LoRa 915 MHz transceiver and GPS module along with a powerbank energy source can make a collision warning device based on V2V communication. From the result of this research, the tool can get GPS coordinates, send and receive those coordinates, and calculate the distances between two coordinates. |
