Tanjung Priok as the main gateway port that connects other ports, is the largest and busiest port in Indonesia. To support the productivity of container loading and unloading at Tanjung Priok Port, it is necessary to add and develop container terminals under the auspices of PT Jakarta International Container Terminal which handles import and export activities. The dock is planned to be able to receive ships with a capacity of 60,000 DWT. This final project discusses the design of the deck on pile-type west dock structure at PT Jakarta International Container Terminal, Tanjung Priok Port, North Jakarta. The initial design of the pier produces the dimensions of the pier as well as the size of the structural elements based on the working load data. Modeling and structural analysis using SAP 2000 software is carried out to obtain UCR and deflection values that are in accordance with the limits on applicable standards. Modeling outputs in the form of deep forces are used as the basis for repeating designs of structural elements including beams, pile caps, and plates. Furthermore, the calculation of the depth of the pile is based on the laying reaction value obtained from the modeling of the dock structure. The designed pier has dimensions of 298 m long and 52 m wide with a pier floor elevation of +2.5 m from LLWL. The optimum structure of the pier uses piles with a diameter of 800 mm with a thickness of 22 mm. Piles need to be piled to a depth of 32 m below the seabed to meet axial and lateral loads. The results of this final project are the dimensions of the pier structure and pier structural elements, facilities for berthing and mooring of ships, details of reinforcement for pier structural elements, and the depth of pile driving. text
