Al-Qur'an is the holy book of Muslims which was revealed through the Prophet Muhammad SAW, who is believed to be the last prophet sent as the recipient of revelation for Muslims. Hadith is the second source of Islamic teachings after the Qur'an. The hadith contains the words, deeds and decrees of the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam which were narrated or told by friends to explain and establish Islamic law. Al-Qur'an and Hadith are interconnected as the main sources of Islamic religious teachings. Hadith serves as an explanation of the verses of the Qur'an which are still general in nature. For this reason, it is important for Muslims to know the Hadith related to topics in the Qur'an, so that Muslims can better understand the meaning of the commands contained in the Qur'an. Information retrieval system (information retrieval) is used to retrieve information that is relevant to user needs from a collection of information automatically. Currently there are several applications that use information retrieval systems on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. Seeing the potential for further development of applications that are already available with each of the features it offers, this final project is focused on developing Android-based software that can meet the needs of retrieval of information based on querying verses of the Qur'an with the corpus of Hadith, in which topic relatedness is sought. between the query and the corpus of the Hadith. The android application in this final project has been able to display a list of Al-Qur'an surahs and display a list of verses from all surahs. However, the android application is still unable to perform other functions, such as receiving arbitrary strings from the user as a query, receiving the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an as a query and cannot display a list of hadiths that match the query. This is because the android application has not been successfully completed. The Information Retrieval System that has been created has succeeded in producing a hadith corpus that matches the input with a precision of 90%. This means that the Information Retrieval System is running well, with some improvements that can be made.
