In developing residential area based on population growth in Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, PT Lippo Karawaci, Tbk. from Lippo Group are planning the development of business and property area. With the new area, a wastewater treatment system is required. The objective of this planning is to determine wastewater generation and configuration. In this planning, the wastewater debit averages at 886.21 m3 /day. The criteria to determine a unit is based on land requirement, construction cost, operational cost, treatment effectivity, operational ease, human resource, and the number of sludge accumulation. The chosen system configuration is bar screen, conventional grit chamber, grease trap, equalization tank, rectangle sedimentation tank, rotating biological contactor, clarifier, rapidsand filtration, ion exchange, chlorination, and sludge treatment: gravity thickener, aerobic digester, and sludge drying bed.
