DEVELOPMENT OF ABANDONED-LAND IDENTIFYING METHOD FOR HOUSING HGB USING A QUICKBIRD IMAGE (A Case Study of Pacet And Sukaresmi Subdistricts, Cianjur Regency)

Abandoned-land identification is currently carried out according to a technical guide of the implementation of Public Regulations Number 36 year 1998 about the control and efficiency of the abandoned-land. The map used for identification has not yet some building information. In order to obtain the building information by doing a field survey requiring time, force and cost that is adequately large. The utility of satellite image and remote sensing data for identifying any object on the earth's surface has been long applied in the world. It is required a research on the abandoned-land identification of Hak Guna Bangunan (HGB) for housing by using an image.<p>This research has been carried out at HGB on behalf of PT. MMP, PT. MCI, PT. OG, PT. RE and PT. TKM that have been predicted to be abandoned with the area of 81.8660 Ha. In the quickbird image it has been identified the building and non-building, as well as digitized. The description as a result of digitizing the building and non-building is conducted an overlay by a plane map of HGB for obtaining the HGB location at the area of the building and non-building. The housing HGB is predicted to be abandoned if it is in the non-building. The implementing procedure and the outcomes used an image as compared with the implementation and existing outcomes.<p>It has been obtained the outcomes of HGB on behalf of PT. TKM as a number of buildings as area as 6.5712 Ha of 81.866 Ha, while in the use of the existing procedure there is no number of building area. By using the Quickbird image we can identify the abandoned land for the housing HGB. <br />
