Description
Summary:This research aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based electrical power monitoring system in poultry farms to optimize energy consumption. The system is designed to collect real-time electrical power consumption data from various devices and systems operating within the poultry farm. This data is collected using electrical power meter sensors and transmitted to a local server through appropriate communication protocols. Once the data is received by the local server, it is processed and stored in a database for further analysis. Subsequently, the data is transmitted to a global server through an efficient and secure communication protocol. A data visualization application is developed to enable users to view and analyze electrical power consumption data in real-time. The analysis of the data reveals different energy consumption patterns as the chickens grow. This research also provides recommendations for energy savings, including the implementation of power factor correction, optimization of actuator usage, and installation of devices for better speed control. It is hoped that this system can improve the efficiency of energy usage in poultry farms and provide a foundation for further research in the field of energy management and IoT.
