<p align="justify">The Gedebage Main Market area is one of the areas in Bandung City that has always been a flood subscription for 15 years ago (in 2008). Floods in the area inundated Jl. Soekarno Hatta and Gedebage Main Market. There are 2 nearby rivers in Gedebage Main Market, namely Cinambo River and Cipambuhan River. Cipamulihan River is less able to accommodate the flow of water when it rains with high intensity so that it inundates the area of Jl. Soekarno Hatta which has an impact on the Gedebage Main Market. The Bandung City Government has made a flood control solution in the market by building the Cipamulihan Retention Pool. But in fact, at this time the pond is unable to accommodate the flow of water from the market and the Cipamulihan River, only accelerating the receding when flooding occurs in the area. This final task is to plan a retention pond in the upper reaches of the Cipamulihan River with a pool area of 24,790 m3 so that the discharge flowing downstream of the river, precisely in the Gedebage Main Market Area, can be reduced and the capacity of the Cipamulihan River downstream can accommodate the flood discharge that occurs and make drainage improvements to Gedebage Market. The volume of the additional retention pool has 10.2 times greater than the Gedebage Retention Pool. Total cost for additional retention and repair pools amounted to $11.14 billion.
