INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/75579 The inundation risk study was carried out in the Indramayu Regency by projecting 4 inundation scenarios from 2025-2045, measuring coastal vulnerability using CVI, and land vulnerability using LVI. Indramayu Regency has great potential to be damaged and affected by tidal floods because of its location which is directly adjacent to the Java Sea in the north and the alarming climate change that causes sea level rise. The results of the inundation projection show that Indramayu Regency in 2045 scenario 1 has a submerged area of 482.53 km2, then for scenario 2 it is 584.31 km2, then in scenario 3 the area of the submerged area is 633.04 km2, finally in scenario 4 the area of submerged area is 715.99 km2 with 18 of 31 districts affected greatly. Coastal vulnerability results from CVI vary from very low (rank 1) to very high (rank 5). The most dominant vulnerability rank is high (rank 4) with ±35,86 km (29,40%) length. The land vulnerability result from LVI (Land Vulnerability Index) shows most of the very high land vulnerability is in the Districts of Pasekan, Indramayu, and Losarang. Inundation maps were then overlaid with land vulnerability map to produce inundation risk maps. Inundation risk map shows the level of potential loss in an area at a period of time. Districts that have the highest inundation risk are Losarang, Pasekan, and Indramayu. Given the relatively high CVI score in this region, namely moderate (rank 3) to high (rank 4), Losarang, Pasekan, and Indramayu Districts need to be the first to be handled to face inundation hazard. text
