Description
Summary:The Asia-Africa Street area bears witness to the birth of historical events that occurred in the city of Bandung. The development of activities and events since the awakening of Asia-Africa Street has become the foundation of the existence of heritage sites there. The presence of these heritage sites has the potential to boost the local economy's structure, accelerate tourism growth, and other tourism-related endeavours. However, in reality, despite its historical significance, the presence of heritage sites in Asia-Africa Street is not optimally exposed. Therefore, in order to utilize the heritage sites optimally and provide new information and experiences for tourists in Asia-Africa Street, a strategic planning is needed to develop the potential of these heritage sites both physically and non-physically, taking into account tourists' preferences. The data for this research was obtained from literature, questionnaires, observations, and interviews, which were analyzed using a mixed-method approach. The research results indicate that the development strategy for heritage tourism in Asia-Africa Street can be implemented through a personal interpretation planning in the form of a heritage trail with several route options, as well as a non-personal interpretation in the form of brochures and booklets containing information about each site in the Asia-Africa Street area.
