In this study, some isoprenylated flavonoids such as artocarpin (14), chaplasin (18), artoindonesianin B (19), and cycloartocarpin (38), were isolated from the heartwood of Artocarpus champeden Spreng, an Indonesian endemic plant known as cempedak. Compound (38) was found for the first time from A. champeden. Structure determination of these compounds was carried out based on physical and spectroscophic data (UV, IR, NMR, and MS). Artocarpin (14) showed the strongest toxicity against Artemia salina shrimp. <br /> text
