ABSTRACT: <br /> <br /> <br /> Erosion was defined as the decline of shorline to landside direction from its original position. Erosion was occured by littoral sediment tranport along shorline in wich sediment moves from one place to another place. Littoral sediment transport is occurred if waves from an angle to normal line of shoreline. <br /> <br /> <br /> In Pasauran Beach shoreline, the sediment littoral occurring is 7,514.88 m3/year, lead to decline of the shoreline. So far, the eroded areas comprise settlement and tourism area. The sediment moves from south to north direction. <br /> <br /> <br /> So far, the problem of erosion have been protect by contructing seawall. The revetment was laying about 500 meter long. However, both part of the protected and unprotected shoreline is still eroded. <br /> <br /> <br /> Through the study, shoreline change due to the erosion and its protected concept had been analyzed by Genesis programming, which yield the suggestion activities as follows: contructing revetment and groyne series in eroded areas beside the existing revetment in Pasauran Beach, and the erosion can be protected.
