Summary:PT. Bersama Zatta Jaya (Elcorps) is a holding company which focuses on the Muslim fashion sector since 2012. Along with the vast development of the fashion market, especially with the broad Muslim fashion in Indonesia, Elcorps has ample opportunities in doing business. Up to recently, Elcorps' best-selling product is the scarf from Elzatta. With the dynamically evolving fashion trends, it is necessary for Elcorps to continuously develop new products to keep up with consumers' needs. Innovation and creativity is one of the crucial factors for successful product development. In the new product development process, there will always be factors of internal and external uncertainty that could affect execution. This uncertainty can lead to negative impacts (risks) and positive impacts (opportunities) for the product development process. To minimize the negative consequences that may arise from risks and support the utilization of positive impacts from opportunities, the company must take action in managing risks and opportunities. This study aims to apply and enhance a risk management method called the House of Risk (HOR) as a model for risk and opportunity management in the new product development process. This research develops a guideline for an opportunity assessment scale that is technically the same as a risk assessment. It helps risk and opportunity management to be done simultaneously or separately. The result of managing risks and opportunities creates risk mitigation strategies and exploiting opportunities strategies. The mapping of risks and opportunities begins with identifying the business processes and strategic objectives of the company's new product development process. The entire data collection process involves interviews, discussions, and the distribution of questionnaires to relevant divisional representatives. This research revealed the mapping four strategic objectives, and a series of product development business processes resulting in 20 risk events, 37 risk agents, 8 opportunity events, and 10 opportunity agents. This research recommended 11 risk mitigation strategies and 6 opportunities utilization strategies that could support Elcorps to enrich the company's risk management strategy.
