However, there has been a problem with the quality of subsidized gasoline provided, notably the latest generation of Pertalite, which has a lower octane rating than its predecessor. This is a big concern because around 70% of motorcyclists in Indonesia use Pertalite as their preferred fuel. The purpose of this study is to compare the performance of Pertalite RON 90 and Revvo 89 fuels on ten different motorcycles, which include the Honda CB 150 R, Yamaha Nmax, Honda Genio, Yamaha Vixion, Honda Vario, Yamaha Mio, Honda Supra X, Yamaha Jupiter MX, Honda PCX, and Honda ADV. The chassis dynamometer test method is used for the examination, and the characteristics analyzed include torque, air-to-fuel ratio, maximum speed, acceleration, fuel consumption, and power. According to the results of the investigation, Revvo 89 outperforms Pertalite in four of the six parameters studied. The research findings advocate using Revvo 89 for six of the ten motorcycles examined, while Pertalite is advised for the remaining four. These recommendations are backed up by fuel efficiency measurements via specific fuel consumption numbers for each motorbike, except for the Honda Genio and Honda PCX results. text
