Description
Summary:Death is a universal event that every life form will experience. This event is certainly not experienced by the author, but in the closest person, namely the late father. This event is interesting because it is not only a matter of sadness but the loss that continues to encourage renewed feelings towards the late father. It can be seen that this behavior becomes a form of sublime in a person for what he cannot understand. This work is a manifestation of feelings in the form of sublime towards death. Creation that encourages a metaphor of the meaning of memory and perception of the late father after he died. The series of "Post-Death of The Father: Exploration of Biomorphical Forms of the Sublime" is visually based on biomorphic forms, which is an exploration of visual organic forms with several elements between line, color, and shape. This work applies a lyricism approach in the creation of artworks as a form of expressing feelings. This interest is raised as a Final Project with drawing media using watercolor, marker, and pencil on paper. This series of artworks is a form of opening up to what happened and trying to make peace with the situation.
