The sound or opinions of parents may be perceived as noise by the children, and it is difficult to change their perceptions as they already have their own understanding ingrained within them. The artist's creative process involves several stages, including studying Roland Barthes' semiotic theory on Levels of Signs (Denotation- Connotation) to analyze the artwork, and studying supporting theories on generational differences and parent-child relationships, as well as cognitive bias and human perception to strengthen the concept of the artwork. The author transforms these elements into an interactive sound installation art form. The installation utilizes everyday objects, such as a digital piano, manipulated to create sound. The artwork serves as the author's exploration of sound as a medium in the piece, and interactivity with the audience is used as a catalyst for the functionality of the artwork. The title "Noisance" is chosen by the author to depict the situation of clashes that occur between parents and children who have generational and perceptual differences. text
